　　A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is possible within the next two weeks, according to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who was among the European leaders who attended Monday's talks at the White House.

　　The location has not yet been agreed upon, according to Merz.

　　"We do not know whether the Russian president will have the courage to attend such a summit. That is why persuasion is needed," he said at a press briefing.
